You're wasting money with the wireless adapter. The motherboard already has 802.11ac wireless. I have the ASUS Maximus VI Formula, and it works wonderfully. I'd personally go with Windows 7, but that's just me. Very similar to what I built, you're going to like that. :) Biggest difference is I went air, you chose water. You're going to want at least one HDD for storage, 256GB SSD will fill up quickly as the only drive in the machine. I'm assuming you will install the OS from a USB stick?
