how good I'd this for low end gaming

How good is a 2gb gt 610 graphics card for gaming and I'm not looking for it won't I'm wondering how well it would do with a game like Minecraft and such

Honestly, a card like you will be dissapointed. Lowest card I would probably look at for gaming is a gtx 750 ti.

Also depending on your power supply, lately on ebay there have been quite a few cards cheap used. Like I just sold my radeon 7850 2gb card used for 50 bucks the other day. Which in benchmarks it's neck and neck with the GTX 750ti. But really the cards you want to look at in my opinion should be no lower than the 50 series of cards. Like 650ti, 750, 750ti etc.

Minecraft depends mostly on your cpu but it should handle about 80fps, 2d games or games that have a relatively limited point of view like simcity or sims should run fine, Games like Battlefield should run on low settings in 1080p. (assuming that you're bottle necked by the card)
