So i finaly got my graphics card to work but now i have another problem, i get no signal using a hdmi or dvi on the graphics card but i can use the mother board input and it works fine. It picks up the graphics card but its using integrated graphics still.

Proof That The Graphics Card Is Getting Picked Up:

First off, you mean output right? Also, check in your BIOS for a setting which graphics adapter to initialize first. There are different words for this. Intiate display etc. Make sure you read description and set it to expansion card or whatever it's called if it's not. Basically telling it to initiate the dedicated card first, not the integrated. And connect the HDMI/DVI to the GPU connectors upon reboot.

Edit: Btw, don't hot swap (switch while on) cables to monitor. Turn computer off after you've saved and restared PC with those settings. Then swap cable to GPU.

No before that, the very instant the computer starts when it displays either a logo or counts the memory and show what CPU you have etc, you press delete to get into BIOS (can press multiple times, I usually press the delete key many times until I get into BIOS, easy to miss). That is where you set up the basic stuff for the system. Check the manual that came with the motherboard or PC if you need some guidance. Or ask here and we will try to guide you.

Ill check the manual for your mobo and see if I can find the right option to find.

Advanced BIOS Features

Then find

Init Display First

make sure that is set to PCIE x16 and not Onboard.

If it is on PCIE x16 we go even more basic. Have you attached the power cables to the graphics card correctly?
