Hi

for the past 3 days every morning when i turned my computer on it wouldn't boot up windows but instead go into the asrock bios menu because my hard drive wasn't being detected. So i would just turn my computer off and back on and windows would boot up normally. Today was no exception but windows doesn't boot up at all this time. It keeps taking me to the asrock menu. My hard drive doesn't show up, even if I try reinstalling windows my hard drive doesn't show up at all.
The hard drive does work because i tried it on a different computer and it worked perfectly without any issues. I tried a different hard drive on my current computer and it also wouldn't detect it. What could be causing this? Please help me, I want to avoid having to take it to the repair shop.
thank you

Looks like the SATA controller in your motherboard has gone bust. If you do not want to dish out on a new mobo, I suggest you get a PCI sata controller as a temporary fix if low on budget. You can get them on the cheap.

Here is one for under £20. Also, reset bios settings to default and also update the bios firmware.
I doubt it is a power issue as that PSU should be capable of running that rig without much hiccup.
