No bootable device! Toshiba C50-A-146 Window 8

was trying to reset window 8 toshiba satellite c50-a-146. it shut down while reset, stupid of me didn't plug in the laptop. now it kept saying checking media then no bootable device -- please restart system.

i have got no bootable disc. is there anyway to solve this?

Try your recovery disk or usb flash drive if you made one.
Another option is to use the built in Factory Restore which Toshiba calls HDD Recovery.

You access HDD Recovery by pressing F12 during the 'power on' startup sequence and selecting it from the list.
