Connecting old 3.5 hard drives to PC, what do I need?

Preferably I want to use a usb 3.0 cable to wipe them out.
Not sure what to get. Any help? thanks

You can get a USB3-to-SATA lead, or a slightly more fancy USB3 dock (we have something like that at work).

Alternatively, you could get a USB3 external drive enclosure, so you could use your old HDD as a removable drive, if you wished.
