Hello people, Im gonna try to describe my problem, excuse me for my english since english is not my native language.

I have my r9 270x for 4 months right now.. I was happy with it but wanted more performance, So i bought a second one which is exacly the same as the other ofcourse;) At first it didn't work well because i had only a 600Watt PSU, When i started a game it rebooted my pc. Now i got a new PSU and that problem is solved. Now what my problem is, is that i see no fps increase whatsoever, not in Hitman, BF4,Crysis 3,WatchDogs. Most of the time my performance is ever worse then it is with one GPU. I got Huge fps drops for example from 80FPS to 30FPS for no reason.

I connected everything like it should and in CCC Crossfire is on. I tested them one for one (single) and they just work fine.

My CCC Driver is: 14.501.1003. Is is the latest one, btw when i installed crossfire i deleted all the drivers (and files) and installed the drivers from the amd website again.

I did a test on 3Dmark11 for Multi-GPU, the Fire Strike Extreme.
The results are:
Score: 4640
Graphics Score: 5268
Physics Score: 6666
Combined Score: 1976

I tried to change profiles in CCC
I deleted the drivers and installed them again.
Switched the cards from one pci slot to the other.
Nothing seems to work and im desperet right now..

OS: Windows 8.1 x64
Motherboard: MSI 870A G54 (FX)
PSU: AeroCool Strike X 800W PowerSupply 80+ Certifited
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance
HDD 4x 500GB
CPU: AMD FX 8320 Stock at 3,5 GHZ.

I hope somebody can help me with this issue.
Thanks in advance for reading and thinking with me.

Ted

Those AMD cpu's gave me very bad drops in fps in a lot of games. I now have an Intel i5 4690k and in games that were dropping to the 30's and 40's on the fx8350 are now a solid 60 fps with the i5 4690k.

your cpu is most likely causing bad drops in fps. I'd try overclocking it as high as I could and see if it helps much.

For gaming nothing is better than the intel processor to keep your gpu running at full load.

EDIT:
You need to ditch that CPU and motherboard or sell it. Your motherboard is not good for overclocking at all.
Get a i5 4690k and a socket LGA1150 Z97 motherboard and your problems will go away.

Some people don't just have the money for intel processors;) and others do. Besides that, what you are saying is pure bullshit. There are ton's of movies on YouTube with a 8320/8350 With a CrossfireX setup who just run stable AT STOCK speeds. What you are saying is not a solution at all, i understand you are a intel fanboy, that's okay. But dont spread bullshit please. Oh and i already overclocked it at 4,2 Ghz a few days ago and saw no improvements so i put it back on stock. Thanks for your answer anyway.

ok but till you try the intel solution you don't know how smooth the intel is!!!!! I had the 8350 and microstutters all over the place. returned it got the intel and like magic they were gone!!!!!! so F! U!

Those you tube videos were done with better boars and higher clocks as well!!!! That motherboard is trash! trust me. Im just trying to help. not be a fanboy!!!! Im speaking from direct experience!!!! and the intel CPU is only $50 difference for the 4690k. but you can fight with that AMD cpu for ever like I did or you can take my word for it and get the intel solution!!!!

you will not be disappointed.
