Hello!
For months now, my internet has been in a very odd state. My internet will, "go out". By this, I mean that I've lost connection on my computer. The thing is, I'll still be able to continue watching a youtube video (one that I started viewing when the internet was working fine), I'll still be connected to steam and be able to chat, I'll still be able to play online games. But, I can't open, say, a webpage, or play something new. Upon re-plugging in my ethernet cord into my pc, it works fine again, but only for a duration of around 3 mins - an hour before I have to replug it in.
WiFi is working fine throughout this ordeal.
I've verified that it's on my PC's end by plugging the ethernet cord into my laptop, where it will work fine without any interruptions. I've run virus scans on the PC, where I haven't found anything. I'm also not using a net card, just a GA-78LMT-S2P motherboard (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3833#ov).
I thought this could be a port issue, but have looked into my modem/router ports and haven't found anything out of the ordinary.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
thank you very much
