Maxing out Every game at 1080p

I'm building a computer for my brother and he wants to max out EVERY GAME at 1080p. He wants the x99 platform and his budget is $2500-$3000. The parts he wants is a corsair ax1200i and a corsair air 540. This is the current build but I think it is way to expensive though...

That is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overkill, but if he insists on the X99 platform then the 5820k will still be overkill but save a hell of a lot of money, the X99 edition of the Krait is going to be available soon (black and white motherboard), and will probably be a lot cheaper than the X99 Deluxe, and he can save money by going for Corsair Vengeance LPX instead of Dominator Platinum. There are more area's where he could save too.

not to mention he isnt gonna need 32gb of ddr4 ram 16 max imo not to mention 1080p lol with those specs better upgrade that to 1440p easy that's like using an 18wheeler to tow a lawn tractor
