I just bought an FX 8350 rig

AMD FX 8350 stock cooler
ASUS m5a 99fx Pro 2.0
Corsair DDR 1600 8gb
Corsair VS 550
Sapphire R7 260x 2gb GDDR5.
Its just ten days old.

Now I think the cpu is over heating.
I ran Aida64 Extreme for 30mins and the max temp was 64C before I stopped it.

The gpu while gaming gets hot too. though I have not tested it to its full.

I am not thinking whether to retain the current rig or exchange it for i5 4440 (same cost) or i5 4590 (30$ more). Now the budget is seriously limited.

I might save a few bucks on the motherboard (the current asus 99fx costs 190$) and a newer H97 maybe around 150$. Not considered which one to choose yet.

And with those few saved bucks I might exchange the GPU for a better one (a GTX 750ti looks attractive). and then get a H97 or Z97 motherboard.
I will not be Overclocking

I live in India and this is the link

Any help appreciated. Thanks

I have not tested the gpu to its max. Is better to get a better cooler like a Cooler Master Hyper 212x/TX3 or Deepcool Iceedge XT (http://www.flipkart.com/deepcool-iceedge-400-xt/p/itmd9hkakrxwwax9?pid=COLD9HKA76V5ZAD2&srno=b_17&ref=52868be2-90b6-4289-bfa0-3d36388af08f) ?
for the same FX 8350 ?

I though without OC the stock cooler would be fine.

or change the whole rig altogether for peace of mind ?

i love amd but the truth is they make a much better gaming gpu than cpu so if you have the chance to get a i5 then you should probably go for it

modern gpu's can run as high as 95c.. not really what you want to see though.. i like seeing under 80c
