Is my PSU compatible with my Motherboard?

I have an Intel Q77 Mobo and I Want to upgrade my PSU to a corsair Vs450 because am ordering a new GPU... Msi gtx 750 ti.... But is this PSU compatible with my mobo?

I think you should take this chance to get rid of that motherboard entirely. Do not upgrade until you've saved enough both for a psu and motherboard.

You can buy dual power supply PSU adapter.

are you sure there is not a 24 pin ATX power connector on the motherboard

you have not given motherboard model only chipset

since this chipset supports socket lga 1155 it will have a 24 pin ATX connector

6 pin connectors may be PCI-e for graphics cards

the graphics card you mention has a low power consumption and PSU of 400W recomended by MSI
