Nvidia GTX 970 very low score only in cloud gate test 3dmark

I think its because you didn't install the latest PhysX drivers. It could also be a virus is affecting your score. Since you got a low physics score, it could be the PhysX, as I said. That is because they average the scores out. So, try to get the lower scores higher by fixing them.

This has nothing at all to do with your GPU. As you can see, the Graphics score is very high (as expected), and the physics score is lower. Physics in this test is not PhysX. All normal physics is done by the CPU, so there's the problem, but as to why it's so low puzzles me. Have you done more than one test on cloudgate?

i uninstalled and reinstalled physX latest drivers. here,s my new score

If i get i right, you get good score with every other physics test. It's probably a problem or a bug with the benchmark. You shouldn't worry too much about it as all your other scores show that nothing is wrong.

Update: If it really bothers you, reinstall it and try again. Most likely a bug

I read the infos concerning what is actually been tested in each of those tests, it seems 'cloud gate' test specifically directx 10 functions (applied by directx 11). the same goes for direcx 9 functions in 'ice storm' . It could be that something is wrong on my side applying those functions.

And since I couldn't find any other mention of this happening to anyone else makes me doubt its a bug in the benchmark. But just to be sure, I will reinstall 3dmark.

Could it be that you don't have directx 9/10 drivers (even though you have 11)? Might be that, even if it's applied by directx 11. you will get the required directx for the games you play (if you do play any) anyway, so no worry there.

i have made a dxdiag and no error was detected. I have tried to install previous version of directx with no real succes.
