Please guys, help me with my PC build

yo what up sons?! I am planning to build a new pc, I live in the U.S., and I have a $2,000 budget. I will use the pc for gaming, gameplay recording, and 1080p video editing. I've done some research on pc components, but it doesn't hurt to get some help, so here I am. Here's what I've come up with so far:

CPU: AMD FX 9590 Black Edition 4.7GHz Eight-Core Socket AM3+ Boxed Processor

(I've been told that most of the games do not take advantage of Intel's hyperthreading technology, so I intend to go with AMD. I guess 8 cores will handle 1080p video editing just fine.)

Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z Socket AM3+ 990FX ATX AMD Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Series 16GB DDR3-2400 (PC3-19200) CL11 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Two 8GB Memory Modules)

(do I get better FPS by running games off an SSD?)

cpu - yes. games do not use hyper-threading right now, but as games progress, they are starting to use more threads. anyway this is a better cpu then the AMD one that you chose.
cooler - best bang for the buck 240mm CPU cooler. great temps, and nice reviews.
motherboard - nice motherboard, i like the blue colour, and it is a z97 board, which will let you overclock the cpu. it also has some very nice features like m.2 support, and tons of PCIe expansion.
ram - you don't need more then 8 gigs for a gaming build, but if you can 16, you can cut down on the ssd.
ssd - really nice high performance ssd (it is made by samsung), and it does have 500 gigs, which will get you tons of room for your programs and OS.
hdd - this is the capacity to price sweet spot, and 3tb is way over enough for anything you need to store on there.
gpu - the GTX 980 kicks ass. when you put 2 of them together, and upgrade them to the FTW edition, you have some serious graphics horsepower.

you said you have a case and a PSU, so i didnt include those.

overall, this build is awesome, and will be more than enough for everything that you want it to do.

First you will need a HDD 1TB minimum is what I recommend, your SSD will fill up fast.

No you do not get better frame rate running off an SSD but loading times will be faster

I would go with the H100i cooler for best results (my oppinion only)

The rest of your system is fantastic and I dont see ant compatabilty issues.

why would you say that the i7 4790k is a better CPU than the fx-9590 ?

well, I've read that this CPU only supports up to DD3 1866 MHz of RAM, despite reading that the motherboard supports a lot more types, so should I choose another memory kit?

why would you say that the i7 4790k is a better CPU than the fx-9590 ?

yes. the i7 is a beast, and if you buy a cpu with a budget of 1000 or more, it should be intel, as they wreck the AMD 8-cores.
