Hello everyone
I am having a problem with my Asus motherboard. I have always used Intel motherboards in my past builds and I have never had an issue with them. I have been building with them since the 90's and I have probably built seven to eight machines. I try to always top level products. I build machines closer to workstations, most of the time this just means a Quadro graphics card nowadays.
The newest machine I built includes Asus motherboard, I7-4790K, Corsair Vengeance Pro (2) 8gb sticks, Corsair EVO cooler, Samsung 512gb Pro SSD, (2) 1tb WD Black hard drives, (2) WD 500gb Blue hard drives, Sea Sonic 750W Bronze power Supply and a Quadro K2200 graphics card.
When I first built the machine I installed my OS (WIN 7 64-bit) on the Samsung along with all other programs, this ran flawlessly until Asus sent me a bios update. I installed and got a bootlog error. I figured out that the upgrade must have changed the boot sequence. I tried to fix this with no success. The only way I can boot into Windows is to go into the bios and select a drive that is not my Samsung. The bios upgrade they sent me was not the most recent, so I went to their site and downloaded the latest bios. This did not fix anything.
I tried to contact Asus through their service page many times and different ways with no success, I have two cases that have not been answered. One from Jan 11 and one from Jan 15.
My questions are as follows:
Is this a typical response from Asus, and does anyone have a suggestion how to fix my boot problem.

Thank you
Tony
