Asus GTX 980 + GPU Tweak

I have Asus GTX 980 4GB but GPU Tweak only shows (Memory Usage,MB) 3600 as shown in the pic i posted. i thought it would show 4000 as shown in the (GPU-Z) window on the right side, i might be wrong but MSI Afterburner shows even less. might even be normal. anyone else have same issue?

there is no overclocking (yet)
Windows 7 home premium 64bit
i5 4590 3.30GHz
Asus GTX980
16GB Ram
Samsung SSD 840evo 250GB

I'm not sure but that might be the usable memory left on the card bro. I will see what I can find but you always get shorted a little LOL

My GTX 970 reads 3072 in afterburner.

but if I remember correctly it maxes somewhere around 3500.
