Hi I am a complete novice when it comes to building a pc on my own, so my config for construction is a motherboard ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AMD AM3 + FX 8350 graphics card and I was thinking about nvidia GTX 760 2GB good job or will this be a problem ?? and I have a list here I leave:
64 Bit Windows 8.1
PROCESSOR AMD FX 8350 4GHz Octa core = $ 170
Geforce GTX 760 Graphics Card = $ 210
8G RAM at 1600MHz = $ 65
MOTHERBOARD ASUS M5A97 AM3 + R2.0 = $ 95
1TB = $ 54
SSD 128 = $ 60
POWER SUPPLY Rosewill Capston-750-m = 90 USD
CABINET corsair 500R = $ 100
FAN THERMALTAKE C5 = $ 50
and I wonder if these components are compatible to not cause me problems when in use.

Yes those components will work together.

If this is a gaming build, you'll get better performance from an i5 haswell than an FX-8350. Try not to get too mesmerized by the core count and ghz, those are superficial specification that do not define a CPU's execution resources or performance.

Console ports tend to be especially poorly programmed for the desktop. The best way to overcome the lazy programming and generic compiling, is the strong-core approach of haswell.
