Dell Vostro 420 wouldn't boot, so to access files I need swapped hard drive to Dell Vostro 220. Booted okay, but keyboard and mouse not working. Tried both wireless and wired USB for both keyboard and mouse. Wireless USB receiver seemed to be connected (lights on, flashing when connect button is pressed) but doesn't connect to keyboard. Any suggestions?

They have different drivers for different computers, and most likely the 420 and 220 have different chipsets....you may get lucky and you can boot into safe mode and change the drivers....
