Hello. I have 2 issues. Battlefield 4:

I have suffered no problems in any other game.

Screen freezes for about 1 second. Occurs every 5 to 10 seconds. I can easily run it, with a pretty decent setup. I got my computer about a month before I got my new screen. I could run the game in 1600x900 (60Hz) at an average of 100 FPS maxed out. It was connected to my computer via VGA. Then, I got my new screen. a ViewSonic VX2703mh-LED 1920x1080 @60Hz. It ran still very well in 1080p. However, I started having problems. My screen started freezing every 5-10 seconds, for about a second at a time. It is extremely aggrevating.

A friend told me that the VGA connection was probably the problem. I got a HDMI cable. Nope. Didn't fix it. I am now stuck.

Battlefield 3:
Same screen freezes as Battlefield 4. However, whenever I open my map, change the size of my map, or died, my screen flashed black for about half of a second. After getting the HDMI cable, the black screens were massively amplified. They take about 3 seconds to go away now. I tried playing in windowed mode. The black screens were gone. However, the common freezes were still happening.

My drivers are up to date.

No idea what else to do.

Thanks, Bard.

My PSU is a PowerCase 850W. Not sure of the actual name, but that's what I get from the sticker.

It's supposed to be powered by a 240V cable. I have been using a 250V one.

This could have something to do with it, though I don't see why it would start happening after I get a new monitor. I went from 1600x900 @60Hz to 1920x1080 @60Hz.

My GPU was sitting at around 60 degrees Celsius.
