Hi, I'm new to this forum, it's kind of a last resort thing, my computer has been BSODing a lot recently while playing more demanding games and even with google and my friend help I can't figure out exactly which part could be the problem.

I'm not very experienced with computers and fixing more complicated problems with them so please, just tell me what kind of information you need and maybe how to provide them... Thank you if you are patient enough to help me ! :D

Here is some additional info and a shameless bump, when I run Prime95 on small ftt it didn't crash for at least an hour and then did but I was using firefox with multiple tabs open, but if I run it on blend which is ram intensive, it crashes within a minute without me doing anything.

I'm not 100% how that program work but after 2 pass I had 2 error, but in some other thread they said that running it some way could make some false error or something.... so not sure if I did it right, but after 2 pass I had 2 errors.

Edit: I could probably try to run it again, the program didn't seem to have too many options.

Well, after running the complete test thing of the windows memory diagnostic tool which took almost 4 hours for 1 pass it found nothing but Memtest86+ did yesterday, should I run that again ? Is there a way to know for sure if it's my ram that is the problem ? If so I will just order ram right now but I need to be sure, I've also been told it could be a memory chip or something ... or my motherboard... or my cpu yet nobody can give me a clear answer ... haha

Edit: Could you tell me if I need to take notes of the errors number and stuff in Memtest86+ ? I know for sure it found 2 errors yesterday after 2 pass.

Keep only one memory module and run the Prime95 test that causes the system to crash within minutes. If it crashes, then replace the memory module with the other one and repeat the test. Then let us know the results.

It could be the memory, motherboard or CPU, but it's easier to test the memory than the CPU.

Alright, I'll do that in a bit, I just updated the bios... which failed two days ago somehow, my friend find the voltage on the cpu very low under load from prime95 small ftt... it goes from 1.25 to under 1v

Yes, I had the basic one, then tried to update to the newest one but for some reason my computer would not boot at all, then I tried applying other previous bios but only 0609 or something worked, but now somehow the latest one is working which is great, I'll post again tomorrow, to tell if everything is fine or if I got another bsod.

Especially considering it would crash within a minute on Prime95 blend test, so if you want just reply to this with the solution and I'll mark it as the answer and hopefully it will help someone else! :D

Well, I mean, as I said, I don't know tons about computers when it get that technical, I was acting upon my friend suggestions and the first time I tried to update the bios it went very wrong, so he told me, that I should probably not try that again but I did and it paid off... Thanks a lot for your help even though, I messed up by forgetting to mention that detail but I had the bsod before trying to update the bios.
