Hi,

I've just assembled my new PC (Win 7 64, R9 270X) and whenever I play YouTube or other video the video stays in full color but the rest of the screen is grayed. I've been trying to find the option to turn this off but no luck. Any idea how I can turn this off / stop it happening?

wow that's strange... never seen that before :eek:

have you tried other browsers and other video sites? it could be a plugin on chrome, i have one that makes everything apart from the video go darker (makes it look a bit nicer IMO). It could be a plugin/extension that you added, maybe even without knowing or by accident.

If a fresh install of chrome doesn't fix it, that would mean it's something on your pc

Hm i'd just say note down plugins you want to keep etc. and fresh install chrome. Or before that just try and delete plugins/extensions that seem like they might be causing it, then just all of them if that doesn't work
