Windows 8.1 not seeing my second hard drive

Hi iv build my computer and put windows 8.1 on a ssd and want to used my old hard drive 1000 tb seagate which has windows 7 on it but want to wipe it completely and use it like a new hard drive but can't see it in the Device manager but it's in the Bois

It really isn't in the device manager? Try disk management, run diskmgmt.msc

No it's not there but I called Microsoft up and they said it cuz it has a operating system on it

It should still show up.

Does it spin when the PC is on?

Okay then if it doesn't show up in diskmgmt.msc then there is some kind of issue with it.
