Hi my old motherboard died so I bought a new one. I also bought intel i5 2500k cpu.
Other components:
psu: corsair cx 600m
Ram: g skill ripjaws 2x2gb 1333 cl7
So I checked cpu socket no bent pins, used only 1 memory stick in all sockets, reseted cmos, took battery out, tried many different configurations in bios.
Memory was working fine with my old setup for about 3 yrs.
Psu is only 3 months old.
Blue screen error:
Stop: 0x00000124

Solution
I was successful installing Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit multiboot with this MB and keeping AHCI mode in BIOS. I was actually using clones from another SSD running on another ASUS MB. It was riskier and likelier to end up with a BSOD. Actually, by immediately using the pertaining DVD's and going through the Repair option, everything went fine.

Right now, I'm stuck with the third OS in the multiboot clone which is XP-SP3. There's no reason why it shouldn't install peoperly but I get the BSOD, despite the ASUS-supplied F6 modules, before reaching the XP installer request about Installing or Repairing. When I switch to IDE in BIOS, everything goes on fine except when I want to install the XP-compatible drivers supplied by ASUS. cf. below...

Ok so I took out cpu again to see socket closely and there is few bent pins.. I am 100% sure socket was fine so is it possible that cpu damaged mb socket? I put cpu in slowly so how did that happened?
