Hello everyone!
Here's the lowdown, I just bought a G3258, and my MSI H81-P33 is otw(I know Skylake is coming soon), so two questions:
1. I want to have a faster disk performance and I'm not willing to fork out money for 128GB+ SSD's, currently looking at an ADATA 64GB, and I wanted to use the drive for cache, will it deteriorate the SSD faster?
2. Where exactly does the OS need to be installed? HDD or the SSD? If it's the HDD do I just PNP the SSD and start tinkering with intel SRT?

Oh oh oh bonus question:
Do you guys think pairing 2x 4GB of generic ram for this build is ok? Since you could oc it anyways

Build is purely for fun, but on a budget~

Solution
1. It won't kill the SSD

2. When using a SSD as a cache, you don't choose what to install on it. The system sees it all as one drive. The software learns your most used files, and those end up on the SSD.

But with the current pricing, a 120GB drive is not that much more than a 64GB drive.
