1Gbps Network Adapter needed?

Solution

"At LAN side, it provides four GE ports, one USB 2.0 master port, one VoIP port and the wireless user access in compliance with the IEEE 802.11b/g/n standard. It can provide the transmission of broadband data service up to 300Mbps."

That 1GB only counts on the LAN ports. WiFi, you are limited to 802.11n. 300Mbps max.
For wireless yes but it's not worth it yet - AC adapters are being made on draft standards and they are liable to be worthless when the AC standard is finalized - unlikely but there is a possibility. This cheap adapter can be changed to an AC one later on when the specification is finished - hence why I recommended a cheap one for now :)

What make/model router are you connecting to?
With WiFi, a theoretical 1gbps and above only counts if:
-You have a really high end newer router
-There is one and only one device connected to it
-You are right next to the router. Next room over....not so much.

If you can use an ethernet cable, that is far, far better than any wireless option.

An ethernet cable would lead to a great connection!
