I Hi guys
After getting a clean formant on my SSD and installing Windows 8.1 Enterprise onto my PC, games like AC Unity and Far Cry 4 which ran better on Windows 7 now don't run as smoothly. I did experience FPS increases in Watch Dogs and Arkham City, at the expense of goddamned micro stuttering. The only thing that's faster is the boot time. It's all a bit strange since I would say that my specs are quite beefy.
EDIT: I realised that my RAM was running at around 700 MHz so that turned out to be the problem
System Specs:
- AMD FX 8350 @ 4.0 GHz
- AsRock 990FX Extreme6
- 8GB 1333 Mhz RAM
- Gigabyte Gaming G1 GTX 970 4Gb
- Kingston 240GB SSD
- 800w Hiditec Iron
- Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo
