can you put a direct x 11 gpu on to a direct x 10 motherbord what has intel i5 750 cpu cos I want to put a gtx750 ti gpu on it as I have a gt220 in it now and do I need to have more psu than a 500 w

There is no such thing a directx 10 motherboard. Maybe the board supports CPUs that have directx 10 ingrated graphics. 500W should be enough for gtx 750ti.
If the PSU is cheap it is possible to cause problems.
