Want to install xp on a new desktop pc running intel I3 chipset or celeron g1840 can I do this

Solution
The celeron g1840 is Socket LGA 1150.

Intel ended support for XP with the 7 Series Chipset motherboards. Socket LGA 1150 starts with Intel 8 Series and has no XP or Vista support. There are no drivers for XP. You can use compatibility mode to run programs in XP mode.

I3 is not a chipset. You can use Widows XP with a compatible i3 CPU with an Intel 7 Series chipset motherboard, but it would be a Socket LGA 1155 not the newer Socket LGA 1150 i3.
You will first need to locate XP drivers for all of the associated hardware. The driver architecture changed when Vista was released and Win7 and 8 have used the same architecture as Vista which is not compatible with XP.

Hardware manufacturers never write drivers for out of date hardware. If you can't locate the XP drivers for all the hardware in the system the install will fail so you may not be able to accomplish an XP install.
