My daughter got a tablet for Christmas, and up until a few days ago, it connected to our home network without issue. Nothing changed in our network or her tablet, but now when you search for open wifi networks, nothing happens. The "on" button usually lights up blue, and a list of available networks will show up. Now, when we switch the button to on, it stays gray and the screen says "To see available networks, switch to On". Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
First, back up anything you've put on the device (use USB).
Second, reset to factory defaults
Third, see if the problem still exists
- If yes, then contact the manufacturer for warranty service
- If no, then restore from the backup and see if the issue comes back. If it does, then it's something in the setup or configuration causing the issue.

I'll assume you tried to reboot the device already. Perhaps it is a rogue app that was downloaded or malware, the latter being unlikely but possible. Does the button stay blue when you switch it to "on" and hold it then switch to grey when you release it?
