Is this psu too powerful for this build? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9tY2YJ
Ive heard you dont want a psu that is too powerful for builds that dont consume a ton of power like that one. Keep in mind that i plan on going sli with the gigabyte g1 gtx 970 anyways so im sure that will be better but still. Is this psu too powerful or will i be okay?

You can go way lower to like a 500w or a bit more if you want, look at the top right on the page of your build, it says Estimated Wattage: 332W, so 500w is plenty, and enough for future upgrades, and if you want, you can go higher to like 600-750w. I would go with an EVGA power supply because they are very good and usually cheaper. Save the extra money to switch to an SSD or another small upgrade to your list. Hope I was able to help you!

You cant base psu wattages off the estimations that might not even be correct. I realize there is a 332w estimation but that will fluctuate alot when i play games and things like that. for all we know, it could shoot up past 500 watts and the whole pc would come crashing down :/
