Why do i keep losing internet while, and im still connected to wifi

I keep losing my internet connection, while im connected to the WiFi. i don't lose any connections on any thing else though. I have to constantly turn off my connection to WiFi and then restart it to stay on line. I have an Aspire A3 Laptop with Windows 8.1. Any one know why this might be happening? Thanks

How's the signal strength? Do you lose internet when say a 900 MHz cordless phone rings? Or a microwave being used? Large people walking by the router causing bad signal?

The router may need to have a firmware update as well. Settings in the WIFI adapter on your laptap may be set to something that makes it prone to dropping connection. Or your ISP has crappy service...

The router is from comcast, I looked on their site but I don't see anywhere to download updates. Right now its only the laptop that loses the internet. the wifi connection to the network is never below all bars full. I updated my anti virus and ran that but it didnt help either. So far i think i've updated everthing i can update to fix the problem.
