Hi , I just bought the Asus PB238Q 23 inch IPS and I was wondering if anyone here has it and/or knows the best settings for color accuracy .

I have a GTX 970 if that matters .

Thanks

I own this monitor, and I find that the colour is best when set to sRGB mode in terms of overall appearance and in the ability to separate different tones using the guides here:

I definitely found the contrast ratio best when running in sRGB mode. I also noticed a significant improvement in the amount of backlight bleed compared to other settings, such as Standard.

If you really want to pursue colour accuracy, either buy a Spyder colorimeter to calibrate with, or consider selling your current PB238Q and buying the sister panel to this one, the PA238Q, which is calibrated at the factory to ensure better colour accuracy. Hope this helps.

The gpu wont matter that much.

Same goes for the display there may be some info/files out there to provide settings, other then that you can always run an online calibrator where it shows you colors/contrast ratio and you have to adjust yourself to best fitting.

Then there are color meters/monitor calibraters such as the spyder serie that you can buy costs between 100-200$

and that does all the work for you to display best colors.
