Planning to purchase today.

My budget is about 1000$ the keyboard and mouse I've chosen have to stay

I put this together on my own from research and toying with prices.

My use is mostly gaming and school work. I play WoW and DotA 2. I would like to stream on twitch come May so advice on what I might need if I choose to go that route in the future would be helpful.

I have my own monitors (not sure of their specs)

My school provides me a free operating system.

I have no current desire to OC but the option would be nice to try in the future.

Location: Chicago IL USA

I would like to copy my metal CD collection on to this computer so I would like a burner I want it to be cheap fast and accurately get the music. I would appreciate a recommendation.

I also do not know if I need to purchase additional fans or a heat sink or paste. Help with these aspects would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time!!

Here is a little edited/tweaked build i put together it went a little over 1000 but its worth it.

It will have better peformance, overclock ability too

And are you sure you want those headphones? i think you can get better for cheaper or better for same price range.

Same goes for keyboard.

Im appreciate the repsponse but I am not a fan of what youve done here.

The mother board you have chosen has a lot worse reviews mate. What am I getting from the board you have chosen that I didn't get from what I chose?

Im confused how ram works is the 8 gigs better then the 16 gigs because of that 1600 number vs the 1833? I was under the impression that for streaming ram was an important factor? Am I mistaken in this?

The estimated wattage on your build is 402 why do I need a 700w Power supply?

The case you picked has no cool lights which is disappointing. Was this case the choice just for budget or was there some benefit.

I literally no ZERO people in the world that need a terabyte of space its extra unnecessary even if it is only 10 bucks. I mean I am not getting any performanceout of the extra space correct?

So I apparently picked the wrong headphones when I picked my parts these are the headphones I intended to buy

The keyboard is the only one I have been able to find with buttons below the space bar if you have seen others Id be happy to look at them.

The motharboard are pretty same that does not matter much, did just pick it from experience as i used this one in some build and its been a solid board.

Ram does normaly not affect fps/gameplay much at all its more for applications and as yes streaming does use ram still 16gb is not need will be tottaly good with 8gb. as same for mhz 1866mhz is the optimal as its always close to price as 1600mhz but going over 1600mhz does not improve anything in games either just for osme applications.

the estimated wattage is still a estimated, still good to have headroom as a psu is one of the most importand component of the computer, and this leaves for upgradability and overclocking. and this one is fully modular so no need to have cables you dont need= better cable managment and looks nicer.

the case you can change if you want, i did just pick it cos its a good and recomended case with side panel too.
led fans can always be bought and they are pretty cheap like the bitfenix spectre led fans, but the case is always up to your needs and what you want in it.

Looks like you dont have alot of games or files or anything then, cos almost all my friends and most people i know uses 500gb+ and i myself have used 3-4tb atm.

I did just think as you game and stream you would have games or sometimes record and that eats up alot of space, and as 1tb drivers are so cheap why not get one.

Yea i was wondering about the headphones if you really wanted them but those one looks much better.

same with keyboard it all depends on what your needs are and what you like, i myself disslike buttons that are below the space as you can accidently touch them easy, and i would suggest some mechanical keyboard instead but its all up too you.

Thank you for your time and help after additional research I am going to take some of your advice especially with the case. Ill probably stick to my mother board and give it a shot since I know nothing about BIOS and reviews says the fatality is easy to use. I really do appreciate all your help. DO you know if I am going to need thermal paste as well? or does the cooler you suggested come pre coated?

The cooler should come with thermalpaste as most coolers do, and from what i have read the one that comes pre applied with the evo 212 is really good, otherwise if you want to put some other yourself i would recomend the arctic cooler mx-4 thermalpaste as it is none conductive and will not damage any components if you get it on the motherboard or so.

both the motherboards both the one you had and the one i suggested is good board and you will be happy with either.
