As asked before in here I cannot find the drivers for the SM Bus Controller. I have a ASRock Z97 Pro3, i7 4790k, GeForce 780. I have already installed the chipset from intel everyone mentioned and it did nothing. Running windows 8.1

The SMBus is a part of the Intel Management Engine, which is a separate component of the chipset. The drivers for the Management Engine are provided by the OEM (using reference drivers from Intel), not Intel itself like the chipset drivers. The only except to this is PCs for which Intel is the OEM, but there are only a few of those.

Thank you for the response. I just downloaded the INF driver from there and the SM Bus Controller still shows it needing a driver. Also windows is prompting me to install intel's chipset again

You need the one below that, titled "Intel Management Engine driver ver:10.0.0.1204"
