Hello I've recently ran into some weird problems with my internet. I have looked online for other threads however after finding nothing I've decided to write up my own.

So a few days ago I realized that I can't load websites on my PC (Which is connected through an ethernet cable), sometimes they'd load after multiple reloads without css and then afew more reloads would result in the entire website, but this takes for ever. I have tried the tracert command and get ping results around 30 - 40 which is great i guess however cant load any websites. I can load things through my phone(Wi-Fi) but not the ethernet. And another thing to note is that steam works fine in the sense where i can play games with a good ping and chat with others however loading the market and steam store once again takes forever and sometimes it does'nt even load it.

ps: Google search works perfectly fine but websites are a nonono.

Thank you.

Try changing your DNS server.

Maybe your ISP's DNS is not that good. Change it to Google's default DNS server under your LAN IPv4 settings to 8.8.8.8 for Primary and 4.4.4.4 for Secondary then see if it has improved.

I am using chrome like always however I did try using IE this morning and the problem was still the same. I have tried the speed test and i get 23 ping, 9.2 mbps(Download), 0.73mbs(Upload).

The upload does seem lower than before although i dont remember the speed before the problem was around.

But really they look the same.

I also realised that if i clear my cache and history and all of that i cant seem to search google let alone load a website.

Hmm, well it's not your internet speed. Also it's normal for it to load a little slower when you clear your cache but I won't go into that now.

I'd try reinstall chrome to see if that makes any changes, in case you had some issues with plugins etc.

Nothing turned out to change. The problem is not just with chrome spotify for example would take a while to load new albums and their pictures however songs that are in my list play instantly even though they also require internet. Another thing is with youtube once i open youtube once it loads nearly everything but the thumbnails of the videos, once i click a video it would play it with out a problem.

Hmm, as Neur0 mentioned try changing your DNS, if that doesn't work give firefox a quick spin just to see if anything changes.

If once again none of those work try booting your PC in safe mode with networking to see if anything changes.
