Hi everyone, I've been having problems with my Zotac GTX 770 Amp! Edition ever since I got it and I would appreciate it greatly if someone could help me solve the problem.

Every time I run a high performance game(usually AAA titles) like Assassin's Creed Unity or Alien Isolation etc; my graphics card will stop responding for a second, causing the game to crash to a black screen, forcing me to have to open the task manager to get back to the desktop where I will get an error message in the system tray that says "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 347.09 stopped responding and has successfully recovered".

It seems like this happens only on graphic intensive games because I do not get this issue when running older games that are less demanding. Also, turning anti-aliasing off seems to allow the graphic intensive games to run slightly longer before the card crashes again. I can play most games with almost everything maxed out with a smooth frame rate but at the cost of having the card constantly crashing from anything between 1 minute to an hour or more.

I have tried resolving this problem by doing clean installs of the older drivers that supposedly helped others fix the same problem but it didn't help me at all.

I am very upset with the fact that all my games can run smoothly but my card refuses me this joy. Please, will someone help me solve this problem? I am at my wits' end!

Thank you in advance!

My current setup is:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Intel Core i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz
8GB RAM
Zotac GeForce GTX 770 (Driver version. 347.09)
Fractal Define R4 Tower

My PSU is a Super Flower HX 600w Modular Gold.

I will try those programs you recommended later when I get home. There is a chance that it might be overheating because the guy who helped build my setup did mention that if I didn't get an extra fan(which I didnt), the GPU might not be able to stay running for long.

Will update once I get those programs installed.

-edit-
When running Assassin's Creed Unity, the temperature of my GPU goes up to 84 degrees Celsius (183 Fahrenheit). I am not sure what is the temperature limit on my card, though.

I have gone for a few hours without a single crash after upping the voltage on the GPU using MSI Afterburner. Temperature was a little high but I'm sure it's nothing an extra fan won't fix. Thanks so much for your help cin19 :)
