I picked up the red and black cyberpower pc with 8g ram and 1t hard drive from best buy. I know it is set up to expand the ram etc. Can I add a blue ray drive to it? Is the drive and sata cable all I need? Brand new to the whole pc thing. Thanks for your help.

The SATA Power cable coming from the power supply should look like this:

Your motherboard appears to have four SATA ports (2x6Gb/s and 2x3Gb/s) (lower left corner of the image):

One of these needs to be available (doesn't matter which, but I'd recommend using a 3Gb/s port).

Assuming you have an available 5.25" drive bay for it, yes, you can add a Blu-Ray drive. However, addition to the drive itself and a SATA cable you will need an available SATA Power cable from the power supply and some sort of software to play back Blu-Ray movies. I've heard that VLC works, but any other software option comes with a cost.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at. It has a turbolink power supply model atx-tl500w-bk and an msi h81m-e33 motherboard if that helps. There appears to be an open port next to the sata 6g/s plug but I'm not sure if it is sata. I'm guessing that the 4 prong plug is the power cable? I'm clueless Lol. Thanks for the help guys.

Hope this helps
