IO shield dont fit the motherboard?

I just followed jackfrags build but I notice in the parts section the motherboard is slightly different to the one thats on the website. idk he might have accidently put the wrong one in. But the IO panel dont fit with the motherboard? I mean wtf i just went to put it in but theres 3 audio ports on the io panel but 6 on the motherboard.

It should be ok to use until a new one arrives. It is just to stablise your connections against the motherboard and the case. Just don't go yanking cables out of the back of it, or you could loosen the motherboard from the case.

It sounds like you might have the wrong panel. Some of them do come with extra holes that are half-cut that you might need to punch out to fit all the ports on your board.

Do a quick google image search for your mobo inputs and compare them.

I called them up and they said if I take a picture to prove they send me the wrong one then they will send me the right one. ALSO would it be fine to use my pc without one for a bit? Like a week max
