chrome not working after changing it to windows8 mode

I changed google chrome to windows 8 mode and it crashed.The app is not opening though I tried opening it many times.Tried to uninstall and that too didn't work out.

Please suggest me how to go about.

Is chrome set as your default browser? If not then you have to set it to default to get it to work.
