Hey guys,

I have this problem that if i plug in one of my hdd, bios does recognise it and say OK but it stucks there and i cant even acces to BIOS setup. It says it is third master even if its plugged in to the 1st SATA slot. I want to reinstall windows on it but now i cant even get to start the setup because it stucks where BIOS detects and thats it. It was working perfectly before. The problem occured when i wanted to reinstall windows, restarted and this happened.
HDD is: MAXTOR STM3160211 AS
When I switch it with my other hdd it boots up perfectly. When i plug in both it is not working. I can trick it when i plug in the working hdd get into BIOS setup then plug in the not working hdd after a minute it appears as third master (yep pretty caveman style) I dont know why. Both hdd is pretty old since it's my parents comp.
