First off sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area.
This is about a 4 year old build.
SPECS:
p8p67 Pro motherboard
Sapphire 6950 2gb Video Card
Seasonic X Series X650 Gold PSU
G Skill Ripjaws 2x4GB RAM DDR3 1600
i5 2600k
Last night I'm playing a PC game, and start getting BSOD. The next 2 reboots i get the same BSOD while in game. Not sure if this would have happened had i just been on my desktop. So i power off my computer, unplug everything and reinsert the RAM, Video Card, and Hard Drives. Now whenever i power on, it runs for about 10 seconds (dont get the BIOS screen or anything, just black), powers off, restarts AUTOMATICALLY and stays on with a blank black screen. Won't even post.
I've tried the other video card in the house and the same problem resulted. I was really hoping this was only going to be a video card issue. HELP!!
EDIT: I also tried a different PSU and RAM and the problem remained.
If the solution ends up being to replace the MOBO, do newer processors have better quality boards or am I ok sticking with a replacement 1155?
