Hello,

I just recently received all of my parts for a new PC I will be building, and since I am new at it, when would the best day of the week be to build it? I am thinking Friday since I would use that night to build it and the next two days to benchmark and run games on it.

Specs:
AMD FX-8350
ASUS Sabortooth 990fx r2.0
Hyper 212 evo
Kingston hyperX fury 8gb ram
Sapphire r9 270x vapor x 2gb
EVGA 750w B1
Corsair 200r
Crucial MX100
Western Digital 1TB Green

Also, no plans of overclocking.

Totally up to you! Whenever you are free.

For a first time builder I estimate/recommend:
1) 4 hrs Hardware Build time
2) 2-3 hrs OS and software install + setup time
3) Overnight stability testing
4) Game as long you want after that!

So....you can even build over a few weeks...there is no hurry to complete it all within 2 or 3 days. If you have weekends off then yes, you can build friday evening, do software saturday morning and then stability test until sunday morning. Sunday all day you are then free to use your PC provided it has passed the tests.

I assume you aren't overclocking and the above time frames don't include that.
