Hi guys,

I recently changed the cpu and motherboard in my computer and since my gpu has been getting to the point of 80 degrees when it starts to throttle. Whilst changing the cpu and motherboard I also put in the cable for Zotac's OC Plus+. My main suspicions are the gpu is now a little lower in the case, maybe missing airflow, or the new OC Plus+ is weird and should take it out. Any suggestions as to what do to will be appreciated :)

EVGA has a software Program call Precision that allows you to adjust the fan speed on your VGA cards. Usually they come with the speed set to 40% or less. The program is free you can DL and setup a curve to as the temp rises the fan speed also rises or you can just have it run at 50%+ all the time. There are other mfrs with similar programs you can DL. I don't like the latest version of Precision the version before it was easier to use.

My zotac card came with a program called firestorm, which by the sounds of it is similar, i have tried to alter the heat/fan ratio but it wont really go above mid 60%. My main worry is it wasnt this hot before i changed the mobo/cpu. Weird thing is the cpu i installed even at full load is extremly low temps, less that 55 degrees

Yeah that is probably why it is so how, and I tried the evga program but tbh I don't really like messing with fans so I think I will leave them at auto. Is there any physical thing you would recommend changing in or out the case?

Nvidia's auto sets them at 40% at least increase them to 60% and see how that affects your system.
