Crysis 3 vs Battlefield 4

I have to decide between these 2 games.

If I choose both, my PC grand total would cost over $800.

So which one these games is better?

I'm looking for a good FPS Shooter game with a touch of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare put in it.

IGN gave both of these games a 8.5 rating and MetaCritic gave both of these games a 4, so I don't know which one to get.

Running these games won't be a problem because I am going to put 2 R9 280s in 2-Way CrossFire, so the games will run easily, these video cards will go with a AMD FX 8320E so I'm pretty sure these wont bottleneck.

Yeah, they're both good games so far for me, no issues at all. It is indeed a hard decision :)

If you want to go with better graphics, BF4 wins, but Crysis 3 is also pretty awesome with graphics, I have just started playing it yesterday and...BF4 still wins in graphics, lol. They're both good games overall though :)

I assume you're playing at 1080p, so that shouldn't be a problem, you'd only need a super cool liquid cooler if you are planning to OC a lot or play on a very high resolution and settings. I don't have Windows 8.1 but I don't see why it wouldn't work since they're still pretty common these days.

I rarely ever do anything at 1080P I'm okay with 720P.

And at 1080P the R9 280s will only get about 40FPS which is okay but I'm used to playing things at 60-100 FPS.
But yeah I might play this at 1080P.

So is Crysis 3 better than Battlefield 4 or the other way around?

I really want the better game.

And so will the Cooler Master Seidon do the job?

Well, do you want a very long lasting multiplayer experience or a pretty fun campaign experience? I finished BF4 campaign and it won't let me change the attachments in campaign, but it was still pretty cool. I can't say much about Crysis 3 yet since I'm in the process of playing it through the first time, but so far I like the abilities and weapons you can use, you can customize your weapons without going to a weapons crate. I'll probably finish the game today or tomorrow if you wanna wait :)

Also, if you are playing at 720p, then that cooler is more than enough to cool your CPU.

Would Battlefield 4 be a better First Person Shooter?
Or Crysis 3?
I really have wanted to play a new FPS in a while (The last one I played was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3)

They are both FPS games, but Battlefield 4 has more multi-player "things."

Crysis 3 has a more futuristic theme to it.

Which one has a better campaign?

If I get BF4 right now and hardline comes out, I bought BF4 for no reason...

But if I buy BF4 and don't buy hardline, I could just get Crysis 3.

But I still don't have a decision on which one to get currently.

The campaign for BF4 is way shorter than I expected, pretty much got hanged there at the end.

Two very different games, battlefield 4 will give you the better multiplayer (really the only reason you should buy a BF game) so IMO better bang for your buck. Also as far as crysis goes you can't beat the original, they really reduced the amount that you can do in game with the sequels.

so get BF4 Premium if u don't want to waste your money
