A few new parts in a new case; how should I do this?

I'm changing a few things in my first build because I simply just cannot figure out what the problem is, and I figure I might as well buy a few new parts, and upgrade to a bigger case so I can replace my 750 ti with an R9 280 I had just sitting around. I wont go into much detail about my problems with my current build but I ended up buying a new motherboard, psu, and case. I will be using the same cpu, memory, and hdd. I also have an 120gb 850 samsung evo ssd I was saving until I could diagnose the problems with my current build, but now that I'm somewhat starting over I will be using this in the new build.

So with this in mind, is there anything I should do differently or need to know? Can I literally just install my RAM, gpu, cpu, etc, in the new motherboard and start the computer up like I did with my first build? I'm also planning on installing the ssd first so I can install windows and WoW on it, is there any method to this that is different than on a hard drive?

Current build ---> Replacements/upgrades:
CPU: Pentium G3258
Motherboard: ASRock Z97m-itx/ac ---> MSI H81m-P33
RAM: 8gb Ripjaws x
GPU: 750 ti ---> MSI R9 280
HDD: 1TB WD Blue ---> 120gb 850 Evo SSD (will install hdd later, less confusing that way i think)
PSU: Corsair CX500M ---> Seasonic G-Series 550W 80+gold (possibly DOA, I will need to test on the new motherboard)
Case: CM Elite 130 ---> Rosewill Line-M

Are you completely sure the old motherboard is broken? Is there any reason why you think there is any wrong with it. I see the replacement as a downgrade.
Yes you can install the Ram, gpu and cpu but before you install Windows. I would try and POST the build and check if anything is out of the ordinary in the BIOS.

I re-installed windows, bought an 80+gold seasonic psu, and I'm still having bsod issues and power randomly not being able to start back up (will go on for a second, then go back down, repeating until I go until the case and put pressure on the 24-pin). The seasonic seems to not be working with it, so it's DOA or the board itself.

so yeah for now I'm willing to downgrade a bit, I'm only using a pentium anyway lol.
