Hi, I'm looking into buying an AMD 8350 with an ASUS M5A97 R2.0 and keeping it stable, and cool with a Corsair H60. I've calculated the PSU needs, and have plenty of room to spare. I just need to know if the H60 will be good enough to run a high pressure game, X-Plane 10, which requires a lot of CPU cores, while keeping the CPU cool, or if I need a better cooler, like a H100, or a good air cooler. Please give me a reccomendation. Thanks! :)

Why not get a 8320 (which is cheaper) and performs almost the same as the 8350 when you overclock them? The money you save would allow you to get a H80i which is much better than the H60. Or you could get a really good air cooler which will perform the same as the HX0 model but be quieter. Where are you buying?

I am buying the CPU from Microcenter. I already have a H60, so I would like to use it. The motherboard I'll purchase from Amazon.

I wish I had a Microcenter... anyways, Microcenter offers bundles. You buy the CPU + Mobo together. I looked at their page and you can get the 8320 + M5A97 R2.0 for $170 plus tax. I'd get that for sure.

Thanks for the tip. I'll cehck it out. As for the 8320, I'm actually looking at the 8350 as an alternative if I don't buy the 9590 or 9370. Right now I'm running a 4790K, at 4.6/4.7 ghz. But for X-Plane, my main game, I need more clock speed, and more CPU vores, as it highly affects the FPS. Thanks a lot! :)
