Netgear Router Won't Connect Wireless

My Netgear n600 WNDR3700v4 won't connect to my laptop wireless. It has connect to every other laptop, phone, ps4 etc in the house however it wont connect to my Lenovo z580. I have it connected through ethernet but wireless wont work.

Pleaseeeee help me :(

how would i be able to check my wifi driver? sorry im not the smartest when it comes to computing etc

if u have a Lenovo system disc it might be on that. u can also go into device manager and look, look for wifi receiver. I recommend unstalling the current driver and use the windows data base driver until you can find the right wifi driver for your receiver. you can also email Lenovo or look on the net for the make and model of the receiver and download the right driver from the correct site

Ok as far as im aware my drivers are all up to date, i checked through device manager and have downloaded some things from lenovos website. Although the most recent downloads for the z580 are for the BIOS ROM (i dont know how relevant this is, could be usless) aren't installing correctly it says my BIOS image is equal or older than the ROM.

Still pretty stuck on why this isn't working...
