best gpu to run all games ultra on a 1366*768 monitor

Hi i have a 1366*768 monitor here is my rig :
FX 8350
8GB RAM
I would like to play all these games on ultra considering that i have a 1366*768 monitor...
Please recommend me the best gpu to run all games on ultra on a 1366*768 monitor...

A R9 270 or higher gpu wil do anything on ultra at that resolution.

1766*768 is generally 720p. anthing the gets like 300 gigbytes per second memory bandwidth is very good, crossfire or sli will double the memory bandwidth to 600 gigbytes per second. that close to 1 terbytes per second just for graphics computing. look on Wikipedia it tell you the memory bandwidth for every card out there.

As already said a 750ti may do it but not at 60fps all the time
The r9 270 will though without a doubt - at that res you'll be able to max all settings & just forget about it.

If you are not planning to upgrade your monitor then R9 285/280X/GTX 760/770 are more than good enough for this res. But given the fact that prices of R9 290 are dropped and that GTX 970 are available at reasonable prices, You should consider either of them. Also GTX 960 will be rolling out soon.

my pick would be what easylover said, maybe with a difference id wait until spring 2015 to get a new 300 series amd gpu, also at that time NVidia is gonna put out the 960 the card that easylover recommened. also amd has new drivers also called omega, the drivers should be cool with the 300 series cards. amd will probably put out at least 5 different cards out then. a low budget like 100$ or under 300x, mid like 150$ 350x. a mainstream gaming like 200$ to 250 360x$. a gaming like 300 to 400 370x. and like a super gaming like 400 to 600 380x. and probably a super duper gaming 380x2 1000$ or more. also you should see how much memory is on the cards, this generation I say it pretty close to 8gb to 12gb on a card

Omega drivers as of this time are a real pain. Many users have complained about them and many have even reverted to the previous drivers. May be further optimization is needed for Omega drivers though they sound really good from their literature.

280 is good, I think nowadays you can get a 285 for the same price. 290x will do almost 60fps on any game for like 100 dollars more.

if u want to max everthing out, you cant just put everything to max...............................lol. you have to pic the right setting in the driver and in the game. rember if u use vsync you wont get any high or lower that 60fps. when u turn it off its possible to make your game faster but you will have screen tear. if u have amd I think in your game u cannot enable fxxa AA because fxxa AA is a nvida thing I don't think amd supports it.

At your stated resolution, the answer is yes but there are many factors to be considered, like amount of VRAM as current high end games and upcoming titles are expected to utilize more VRAM. With 3GB you could easily max it out. Now certain tech are nvidia related while certain are AMD. Both produce good quality cards. Choice is yours which one to get. What is your budget btw and CPU that you are using?

Seriously at 1366x768 a 270x will max games out easily ,280/280x are overkill at that resolution.

Agreed with madmatt30 but my contention is different here. Given the very fact that prices have been reduced significantly, one should not aim for lower end cards and rather get mid to high-end cards which are more affordable now.

AMD is also launching "Trinidad" chip aiming for main gaming market stream. This chipset will replace current gen R9 270 series chipsets.

On amazon UK a 270x is currently £129,a 280 is £139 - in that instance yeah youd be a fool to go with the 270x agreed - depends where the op is from though ,Malaysian & Indian members get ripped big time on graphics card prices.
