Hi Guys,

about a month ago I bought an MSI R9 280x gaming 3Gb and I am loving the performance I get in games versus my older 650Gtx.

The one problem I get however is the BIOS doesnt display itself correctly, its coming up in 480p but expanded so that i only get the top left corner on my display.

I didn't have this problem with the 650Gtx and this also displayed at 480p in the BIOS.

Currently i am using MSI Click BIOS II, but I don't really like having to manipulate the BIOS in the OS.

Any thoughts?

my full system specs are as follows:

OS: Win 7 64 bit Ultimate
SSD: Kingston 120Gb SSD (OS drive)
HDD: 1Tb Samsung
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury White 2x4Gb CL10
CPU: AMD FX-6300 @ 3.5Ghz/4.1 (stock)
GPU: MSI AMD R9 280X Gaming 3G
PSU: Corsair 750W

try jumpering the motherboard
either take the cmos battery out and turn the power supply off for a min.
or use the little jumper to reset it

Hi,

Thanks for your quick response.

I should have mentioned. I have tried resetting and clearing my CMOS multiple times.

I have also tried changing from the Hybrid BIOS to the Legacy BIOS that the R9 280X has on it.

Again no luck
