Forgot Windows 7 admin password. Not a computer person, at all. Have followed online tutorials to no avail. Here is what I have done:

Ophcrack - returned string of letters/numbers. No password.

Windows Installation Disk - from command prompt, diskpart, list volumes, my hard drive does not show.

Hirens Boot CD - the password getter one, says 'Edit Complete', but nothing changes on reboot.

Hirens Boot CD - Min Win XP - hard drive does not show up.

Offline NT Password and Registry Editor - after pushing enter when "boot" shows up, does some stuff automatically and then hangs at 'Booting to kernel' and the cursor just flashes. I have also tried to enter all the other options they tell you to type after the word 'boot' and get the same results.

Ubuntu - Hard drive does not show up.

If you have any suggestions on how I can get one of the above programs to recognize my hard drive to retrieve/remove password that would be wonderful. All of the options above were downloaded in the last week, so they are all the latest editions of whatever is available.

Thoughts, suggestions?
