Hello everyone!

First of all I have to say SORRY for my bad English (I'm Italian).

Please, I need a small clarification about a technical specification of a WD Hard Disk.

I'm confused about the cache of the Western Digital Hard Disk, model n° WD1002F9YZ.

Although the official WD website declares a 128MB Cache for the model n° WD1002F9YZ, there are different pics of the same model but with only 64MB Cache!

How come?

Also the specifications on various websites are not clear.

It is as if there are two different HDD with different Cache memory (64 and 128MB) but the same model number (WD1002F9YZ).
It's impossible!

Anyone can help me, please?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, indeed.. but the solution is not this one.

The Hard Disk "WD Se WD1002F9YZ" has 128MB Cache, right?

WD PAGE

..so, how come this picture declares only 64MB Cache, although is the same "WD Se WD1002F9YZ"?

Hmm... It's weird...
The same "fake" picture is a bit everywhere on the web.
Many commercial websites have this "fake" picture and I don't know WHY.

I hope you're right.... :)
